High-sided oven dish

Description:
This oven dish stands out from the crowd because of its particularly high, 7 cm sides. Whether you’re making a casserole, a roast or sweet dishes like fruit cake or Chelsea buns – it can all be easily prepared in this dish. The food stays in and does not spill out over the sides. It comes in classic black, as well as in red, blue and green, and is made from robust enamel. The rim is curved – known as a rolled rim in enamel terms – and is created by bending the metal during the manufacturing process to form a rounded and stable rim.
The oven dish can also be used in ovens at high temperatures without any problems, although it is strongly recommended that you use pot holders when taking the dish in and out of the oven. Food can also be cut with a knife (with the exception of glass ceramic knives) in the oven dish without any problems.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, therefore it’s made from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware is suitable for use with all types of cookers (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even open flame). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and is then retained. This ensures sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
The non-porous, smooth, glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene, as it’s flavour-neutral, prevents bacteria growth and is easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, our enamel cookware can provide years of cooking enjoyment and will maintain its characteristic glossy appearance.
Uses:
The practical, high-sided dish is a versatile and robust helper in the kitchen that can be used for everything from roasts and roast chicken, to cakes and casseroles. This dish is also perfectly suited to cooking dishes with lots of sauce or taller contents because of its high sides. Of course, it’s also great for cooking larger quantities of food, for example when you have lots of people over for dinner or for when you are preparing food for a party.
Tip:
If you use the oven dish for baking, make sure that you grease it well and that you flour or crumb it before adding the batter or dough. This ensures that cakes, and anything else that you choose to make in it, will not stick and can be easily removed.
